Commissioned by Yorkshire Dances, Ageless Festival. This is a re-make of our Improplay Performance work with a community cast of all ages. With extended set for a larger stage and live music performed onstage. A celebration of care. Cherishing imagination to support movement & heart-warming dancing across all ages. Intergenerational Improplay unites individuals from the community to create and perform together using dance improvisation and play. With live music, this dance work celebrates those who inspired and continue to inspire us daily

Booking
Available for touring from 2026. This is an all ages, intergenerational, live music, larger scale version of our original Improplay Performance Work. This 30minute piece is family friendly. It has a community cast of all ages and professional Improplay cast of up to 5 performers, plus a community cast of up to 20 individuals (dependant on venue size). It involves a larger set of whiteboards onstage, chairs and a live musician area. We hold approx a total of 8-10hrs rehearsals with the community cast prior to performance (usually split up into 2hr slots on a weekend day, a month in advance of the show. Alternatively rehearsals could be 2 x consecutive half days). Email for tech/further booking info.
Book this performance work alongside our WORKSHOP | LIVE FOLK MUSIC & DANCE, for all ages and families which can be held in village halls, schools, youth clubs and elderly settings.
